Created for ibis Styles Hotels to enhance family travel experiences, Cabanadodo offers a flexible solution for creating private, comforting spaces where young children can sleep and play in shared rooms. Developed to balance functionality with child safety, Cabanadodo transforms any bed into a cozy, enclosed retreat suitable for both hotel stays and at-home use, turning ordinary spaces into areas that invite rest and imaginative play.

This versatile design combines soft yet durable panels, crafted with an inner material commonly used in art preservation, to ensure robust stability and shock-resistance, protecting children while they explore their surroundings. The material is flame-retardant, as required of furnishings in hotel rooms. Integrated magnets secure the modular panels, allowing for effortless setup and reliable structure. When not in use, the foldable construction allows it to be easily stowed under a bed.

Awarded first place in the Design Moi un Objet competition, Cabanadodo was exhibited at Paris Design Week and later featured in ELLE Décoration.
